Stacey brings a wealth of experience having worked in elderly care for 14 years, beginning her career as a care assistant. She has developed her career within different organisations and within various roles and has been lucky enough to spend 5 years of her career in commissioning services.
She has a passion for residents living fulfilled lives and ensuring that her colleagues are delivering exceptional person-centred care.
The best part of her day is walking around, and seeing residents and colleagues happy; you’ll often see Stacey participating in a wellbeing activity or 2! She is a positive person at Highwood, where you will hear laughter daily as we work together to achieve outstanding care and to become the home of choice across North Devon and beyond.
Maya has worked as a carer for more than 10 years. Bringing a wealth of experience to continue good care for all the residents at Highwood Care Home.
Kerry has been a care assistant for 14 years and loves her job. Kerry is a very happy, funny and caring person and loves making people laugh and smile.
Clare is a care assistant here at Highwood Care Home and has been in the industry for around 4 years now. Nothing makes Clare happier than seeing the people she cares for laugh and smile. Morgan is a Wellbeing Coordinator at Highwood Care Home. He has a passion for living a full meaningful life and will be working towards enriching the lives of our residents. Morgan has lots of experience organising crafts and activities as well as 8 years in the care sector.
Meet Holly, our Housekeeper here at Highwood care home.
Since moving to North Devon with her family nearly 8 years ago Holly has gained great experience working both in hospitality and the commercial housekeeping sector. Holly always strives for perfection and likes to add a bit of sparkle to everything she does, ensuring a clean and welcoming environment for everyone who resides and visits the home.
Chris is the maintenance manager here at Highwood. Chris is ex-forces (Army) having served 8 years. After serving his time in HM Forces he has had many years of experience in general maintenance. Chris has also been involved in a few boat-building projects as well as many one-off garden furniture requests. His motto is “If I can’t fix it I can build it”.
