Our all-inclusive care provides more than specialist nursing support, with personal care, accommodation, personal laundry, all meals, snacks and refreshments included. Residents can also enjoy a varied programme of in-home activities, hairdressing and Wi-Fi access, while our dedicated team closely monitors wellbeing and responds promptly when additional medical support is required.

The type or degree of nursing care will vary depending on the needs of the individual who is receiving nursing care. However, at Highwood Care Home, we provide a selection of different nursing services such as medication management and wound care to help with activities of daily living and support for those with physical disabilities, sensory impairment and mental health conditions. We also coordinate care with other healthcare providers and ensure that our residents always receive the right type of care for them to maintain their well-being and health.

Chronic health conditions worsen, such as heart disease, diabetes or dementia
Difficulty in performing daily living activities such as bathing, dressing and/or grooming
Recent falls, hospitalisations, injuries or emergency room visits

Our nursing care team is here to assess the level of care that is needed and to offer advice on the most appropriate type of care needed for you or your loved one.
