Celebraing Our First Birthday!

This July marks a very special milestone for our home, one year since we first opened our doors. Over the past twelve months, we've experienced a journey filled with learning, laughter and shared moments that have brought residents, families and staff together in truly meaningful ways.

From the beginning, our goal has been to create not just a care home, but a place where people feel safe, supported and most importantly, at home. Looking back on our first year, it's clear that our community has become just that, a vibrant, welcoming environment full of life, connection and compassion.

We’ve grown together, supporting each other through new experiences, learning from one another every day and building bonds that go far beyond care. Whether it's been through creative activities, joyful celebrations or quiet moments of companionship, we’ve created lasting memories that we’ll treasure for years to come.

To celebrate our first anniversary, we hosted a wonderful day filled with music, movement and plenty of laughter. From a lively Zumba and Samba session to a beautifully prepared afternoon tea, it was the perfect way to reflect on the past year and look ahead with excitement for what’s to come. Of course, there were plenty of photos captured for our beloved scrapbooks, each one telling a story of the moments we’ve shared.

To everyone who has been part of our journey, residents, families, colleagues and friends. Thank you. Your support, trust and presence have helped shape this past year into something truly special.
