Here at Highwood Care Home, we value every single one of our residents’ original and individual talents and quirks that make them who they are today. We understand and recognise that everyone has their own approach to life and we want to help encourage our residents to keep being themselves, which is why our rooms have been designed in such a way that our residents can decorate and personalise them how they wish to. Despite the fact all of our rooms have the same features, our residents are still able to make their room their own. All rooms are peaceful with opulent accents dotted throughout. Every room has a television point, allowing our residents to watch what they’d like to, whenever they want to fit within the privacy of their own home.

Our ensuite bathrooms and wetrooms allow residents to keep more of their independence – and indulge in luxury at the same time.

Our fully fitted wet rooms allow residents to care for themselves or receive assistance with bathing from our expert care assistants. Whichever one you choose, our residents benefit from added privacy, cleanliness, and ease with a smart and safe bathroom that is always close at hand. Perfect for showers, baths, or other bathroom needs.

Yes of course, friends, family members and loved ones are always welcome. If you’d like to visit during our busier times such as meal times or during unsociable hours, please contact us in advance.
